This month I thought we'd try something a bit different for a change.
Rather than have a talk, I thought it might be interesting to spend some time brainstorming, discussing and debating how the Internet of Things could or should (or maybe should not...) affect life.
That's rather open-ended, so some constraints will help direct things (as well as possibly allowing us to re-run in future for different niches).
So, let's consider how the Internet of Things might alter, improve, and generally affect life in cities. What things do you wish you could know about in the city? What would the API be for the Albert Dock? How might we reuse existing infrastructure and street furniture? How might the lampposts in Sefton Park interact with visitors?
As usual, we'll kick things off gently with general chatting over beer and pizza (generously provided by Red Ninja (http://redninja.co.uk)) from 6:30pm, with the event proper starting at 7pm.
See you there!
