Family Judo

A class where parent and children can learn Judo together.

Why do we teach Judo to young people?  Because we want young people to be strong physically and mentally, and are capable of making contribution to the world.

Age group: 4-16 years old.  A class where parent and children can learn Judo together.  A parent must be  participate on the mat or attend from viewing area. This is not a day-care, drop-off service.

Dues: Pay at 

Kids 4-6 years old (yonen 1):
we focus on physical coordination, respect, and traditional values.

Kids 7-12 years old (yonen 2): The junior class is focused on sound basic judo principles. Learning the basic forward and backward throws and ashiwaza foot techniques. Osaekomi pins and escapes. We stress proper etiquette, getting along with others, good sportsmanship, respect for others, appreciation of others and humility. We want them to have fun yet work hard in attaining goals. 

Kids age 13-16 (shonen): In addition to sound basic judo principles and etiquette, we focus on preparation for competition.
