Susan Crawford, author of “Captive Audience: The Telecom Industry and Monopoly Power in the New Gilded Age” (http://isoc-ny.org/p2/4562) has two upcoming book launch events in NYC. Both events are free and open to the public. The first is at the Ford Foundation on Jan 8 (http://captiveaudience.eventbrite.com/), however it is the second, on Jan 16 in the comfortable Moot Court at Prof. Crawford's home base of Cardozo Law School, that we are inviting ISOC-NY members to attend. We may well go for drinks after.
