Special opening Garden of Ninfa - Sermoneta - Castellón Caetani
The Garden of Ninfa will be open on the 21st of October on the occasion of the ITALIAN LITERARY PARKS National Day. An exceptional event where visitors will experience very special and unprecedented emotions: in some corners of the Actors' Garden you will find poetry and songs written by artists who have drawn their inspiration from the atmosphere of Ninfa. The Garden of Ninfa (Giardino di Ninfa), built on the ruins of the medieval town of Ninfa in the Pontine Marshes (Agro Pontino), has been classified by the New York Times as one of the most beautiful and romantic gardens in the world. Program: ➡ 9:00 - Meeting point Ostiense Train station parking lot. ➡ 9:15 - Departure. ➡ 10:45/11:00 - Arrival at Sermoneta for sightseeing in town. ➡ 11:30 - OPTIONAL Tour of Castello Caetani €8 entrance & €6 for groups more than 20 people. From arrival till 14:30, you will be able to sightsee in Sermoneta and other places and have lunch. The important thing is that you are are back for the meeting point at 14:45 to take the bus to Ninfa. When we get off the bus we will let you know where to meet us. ➡ 12:45 - Lunch! We are looking for a place to book for lunch and you can confirm if you want to join the group lunch or sightsee longer and meet us at 14:45 at the bus to go to Ninfa. ➡ 14:30 - Meet at bus to go to Ninfa Gardens. ➡ 15:30 -Ninfa tour begins ( 1 hour) ➡ 16:30 - Tour ends. ➡ 17:00 - Meet at bus to return to Rome. ➡ 17:30 - Departure to Rome. Costs & Reservations: €35 pickup or €40 online. PRICE INCLUDES: Round trip bus fare entrance fee to Ninfa with guided tour in English. NOT INCLUDED: Entrance ticket to Castello Caetani and your lunch. Tour is confirmed in English and we are not responsible if they change languages without notice.
