 opers figuring out where technology is actually going. DevFest Milano is b
 ack: a full day of talks\, hands-on workshops and community\, organized by
  GDG Cloud Milano and GDG Milano.\n\nThe 2026 theme: from generative AI to
  agents\n2026 is the year AI stops just answering and starts acting. This 
 edition puts AI at the center — agentic AI in particular: systems that r
 eason\, plan\, and use tools to get real work done. Four pillars run throu
 gh the program:\n\nModels & generative AI — LLMs\, multimodality\, and b
 uilding products on top of today's models.\n\nAgents & tool use — reason
 ing\, planning\, orchestration: agents that call tools and APIs to act.\n\
 nAI in production — from prototype to scale: cloud\, evaluation\, cost\,
  and reliability.\n\nResponsible AI — safety\, privacy\, and impact: bui
 lding AI you can trust.\n\nAnd because DevFest is a developer festival\, n
 ot a single-topic conference\, the rest of the stack is here too: Android\
 , Web\, Cloud\, Flutter\, Kotlin\, Firebase\, DevOps\, Open Source and Acc
 essibility.\n\nWhat happens on the day\nTalks. Parallel tracks from mornin
 g to evening\, delivered by Googlers\, Google Developer Experts and engine
 ers who ship this stuff for a living. Real architectures\, real trade-offs
 \, real numbers — including what didn't work.\n\nHands-on workshops. Bri
 ng a laptop. Build something with the tools you've been reading about\, wi
 th people in the room who can unblock you.\n\nCommunity. The hallway track
  is half the reason to come. Between sessions you'll find the people who m
 aintain the libraries you use\, run the meetups you attend\, and are hirin
 g for the job you might want next. Coffee breaks and lunch are included\, 
 so nobody has to disappear at midday.\n\nSessions are in Italian and Engli
 sh — each one is labelled in the agenda\, so you always know what you're
  walking into.\n\nIs DevFest for you?\nIf you write software — backend\,
  mobile\, frontend\, data\, infra — or lead people who do\, yes. Senior 
 engineers come for the depth\, students come for the entry point into a co
 mmunity that will still be here next year\, and everyone leaves with a few
  ideas they didn't have at 9am. No prerequisites beyond curiosity.\n\nWhat
  makes DevFest different\nDevFest is run by volunteers\, for developers\, 
 at a community price. Nobody is on that stage because they bought a slot: 
 the program comes out of an open Call for Speakers\, reviewed by a committ
 ee of practitioners. That's why the talks are technical\, honest\, and occ
 asionally opinionated.\n\nIn 2025 we brought together 300+ developers arou
