Hello everyone!
I wanted to share some of the internet resources that I have been using for practicing my Italian. I was telling some of you at the meetup about them, tonight, but I'm not sure if I had the right urls and I know some of you might really enjoy these sites. So here they are: http://www.uz-transla... This is a site where you can download resources for all kinds of languages. There are resources for beginner, intermediate, and advanced. You can even get audio books. http://www.myhappypla... This one is good for meeting speakers of Italian (or any language you want to learn). You can e-mail each other back and forth in each others' languages or you can Skype and practice that way. http://rhinospike.com... Here you can input text in Italian and a native speaker will make a recording for you. http://lang-8.com/138... Keep a journal in Italian and have native speakers correct your writing for you. http://www.lyricstrai... Here's one for watching music videos in different languages. It also has kind of a 'fill in the blank' test you can do while you're listening to the songs. http://www.fluentin3m... This is the guy I have been getting all these links from. He does this blog: 'fluent in three months'. It's entertaining reading so if you have time, check it out! Actually, it's because of him that I even found this meetup group. In one of his posts he talks about how you can practice a language without going to the country where it is spoken. He suggested checking out meetup.com. I did and TADA! There you guys were :) So there you go :) I hope this is helpful to some of you! Hope to see you in two weeks :) Annette |

Hey everyone,
Here is another useful tool I've been trying lately: http://ichi2.net/anki... Essentially they're smart flashcards. Check out the intro video on the website. Annette |

I just wanted to bump this back to the top for those of you who were interested in the links.
The one I use most is lang-8.com. It's great for practicing your written Italian and for making Italian friends. There are people from many different countries and cultures on there so of course it is not restricted to Italian language, either! learnitalianpod.com is also good for all levels. http://www.lingq.com/... is good for practicing reading and listening. If you become a member on lang-8, don't hesitate to add me as a friend! It's kind of like Facebook, that way (but more useful :p ). Here is my url: http://lang-8.com/ann... |

Caterina: I use this website - especially for verb conjugation - and which auxiliary verb should be used.
