Yes! The perfect Saturday activity just showed up! Great conversation, gorgeous scenery and a great workout. Come out tomorrow for a mild work out in the fresh air!

Last weekend was the best ever so it is back by popular demand ? perfect route- a gorgeous climb up through the Redwoods and waterfalls with perfect water and bathroom stops along the way at Pantoll and West Point Inn, then lunch at the peak. Gorgeous water views, fascinating folks- wish it kept going, even at the end!

We take a shortcut down so the return is quite fast.

Don't forget to bring layers, WATER, snacks and lunch

CARPOOLS:

If you'd like to offer a ride, please leave a comment in your RSVP letting folks know where you're coming from and with how many spaces there are. If you'd like to ride as a passenger check the website and contact those offering

Once you click the above link the "B" is at the entrance to the parking lot and you can enter your address on the left into "A" and get driving directions.

You wont see a sign for Eastwood Road ? it?s the entrance to the park. If you drive from Panoramic Hwy to the Muir Woods you have arrived when you reach a sharp left turn and the downhill part has ended. *** if you drive in from the Hwy you have arrived just before the sharp right turn and the road starts going uphill.

There is parking at the entrance to the park. If that is full there is a curve-around lot right there AND if you continue on Muir Woods Road past the main entrance, on the right hand side across from a maintenance building there is more parking.

Entrance into Muir Woods park is $5 per person.
