What we’re about
Calling all LGBTQ+ Jews across the Twin Cities! J-Pride is a program offered by Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis. Our mission is to create community through queer-focused Jewish programming for LGBTQ+ Jews and their allies throughout the Twin Cities.
Our events include coffee socials, enjoying cultural events, celebrating Jewish holidays together, queer-focused text study, attending services together, and more! Join our meetup group to learn more. You can also find us on Facebook and Instagram at JPrideMN.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Hunter Wengersky, J-Pride Program Coordinator, at hwengersky@jfcsmpls.org for more information.

Join JFCS NextGen & J-Pride for our Etrog Extravaganza! A post-Sukkot event and part of J-Pride’s Yiddish Cultural Café series, participants will learn about Yiddish terminology for the high holidays, ritual and tradition surrounding Sukkot, and more. Attendees will also have the choice of making their own etrog liqueur, etrog infused oil, and a lulav craft! Join us for a day of learning, creating, and connection on Sunday, October 27 from 12-3 p.m. at the U of M Hillel building. Lunch provided!
Due to the presence of alcohol, this is a 21+ event only. This event will also take place indoors, so masks will be provided should anyone wish to wear them. However, we will also serve food, so be advised that eating will take place during the event.
Whether you're just curious about Yiddish or you're already immersed in its rich culture, all are welcome to gather with fellow LGBTQ+ Jews and allies to connect, share, and learn something new.
Due to the 21+ nature of this event we ask everyone attending to RSVP at the survey found here: https://forms.microsoft.com/r/4prDv4pQUq
