Nerd Nite #32: Loose Screws

GRID Nagatacho

日本語の説明もある、下のほうを確認して! Every month we gather 3 smart speakers and a curious crowd. In April let's talk about neurons, using AI in academia, and Akihabara. Do messed-up mitochondria in cells contribute to depression and bipolar disorder? How can we quickly read and learn all the new scientific research out there (hint: use AI)? And we take a planet-friendly and fun tour through the Japanese junk electronics market! Drinks (both alcoholic and non) and food from Tiny Peace Kitchen will be available. Eat, drink and be square-y! Kids are also welcome at Nerd Nite. Speakers: Emilie Kristine Bagge -- Mitochondria in the Depressive Mind (https://www.instagram.com/emiliekbagge/) Yasutomo Takano -- Paper Digest: Summarizing Science using AI (https://www.paper-digest.com/) Kipp Cannon -- E-Mottainai: Breathing Life into Scrap Electronics in Tokyo When: April 12 (Friday), doors open 19:30, start 20:00 Where: Nagatacho GRID B1F (https://goo.gl/maps/mc5YMnFPuSS2) Price: ¥1000 at the door 「Nerd Nite東京」は、 毎月行われる会でTEDみたいな講演を3つ聞けますが、TEDと違って、リラックスした空間で飲みながらプレゼンを楽しみます!
