🏝️Exploring Oshima/大島トリップ

Let’s visit Izu Oshima and enjoy a weekend summer getaway!

Izu Oshima (伊豆大島, Izu Ōshima) is the largest of the Izu Islands, a group of volcanic islands in proximity to the Izu Peninsula. Oshima is located about 100 kilometers south of Tokyo. It takes about one hour to circle by car and is a popular tourist destination.

There is a mountain called Miharayama (758 meter) in the center of the island which is an active volcano. There are beautiful beaches at the island's northern and western coasts where you can enjoy snorkeling, sunbathing and other beach activities during summer.

We will take a ferry from Takeshiba port at 8:00 and arrive on the island around 9:45. We will then rent a bicycle and explore the every corner of the island. On Day2, we will hike the mountain, chill at a hot spring and go back to Tokyo!

We will end the trip around 16:00 on 20th but feel free to extend your stay as you like.

伊豆大島を一緒に散策しよう！

伊豆大島は伊豆諸島最大の島で、伊豆半島に近接する火山島です。東京から南へ約100キロぐらいに位置しています。車だと一周するのに約1時間ぐらいで、人気の観光地でもあります。

島の中央には活火山である三原山（標高758メートル）があります。島の北海岸と西海岸には美しいビーチがあり、夏にはシュノーケリングや日光浴などのビーチアクティビティを楽しむことができます。

8:00竹芝港発のフェリーに乗り、9:45に島に到着。その後、レンタサイクルで島の隅々まで散策します。2日目は三原山をハイキングし、温泉でスッキリしてから東京に帰ります！

イベントは20日の16時ごろ終了ですが、延長したい方はご自由にどうぞ！

Meeting point: Takeshiba port at 7:30

Participation fee: 13,000 yen

• 1 night accommodation (shared room)
• rental bbq set on Day 1 (food and drink cost will be split among participants)
• organizing/planning fee

Not including:

• transportation from/to home to Oshima island (please arrange yourself from below site 👇 )

• bus fare (around 400 yen) between ports (there are two ports and depending on weather we don’t know which port we arrive)
