One Day Trip to Chōshi in Chiba for " Nyubai Iwashi " | 今が旬「入梅（にゅうばい）いわし」を食べに銚子へ

【Overview】

Chōshi in Chiba Prefecture are the fishing ports that boast the highest catch in Japan.

Every year, the sardines caught in Chīshi during the rainy season are called "Nyūbai Iwashi", and are known for being the most fatty and delicious in a year.

In this event, we will move to Tokyo from Tokyo Station by express bus and eat dishes such as tempura, sashimi and Sardine Ball Soup.

In addition, we ride on a quaint private railroad
"Choshi Dentetsu Railway" and move to "Inubo Saki" chosen as "100 lighthouses of the world", go on the promenade of mounds, sandy beach, rocky reef, rare cliff plant, fishing port scenery etc. We will watch them.

The stratum of about 100 million years ago in the dinosaur era designated as a natural monument of the country is very impressive.

※ Please note that in rare cases with sardines may not be available in restaurants due to poor fishing.

【After the end of the event】
The event ends at 4:16 pm in front of Choshi Station, and the return bus bound for the Tokyo Station line is scheduled to depart at 4:50 pm.
You can use the JR Sobu Line or Narita Line by train, please use the transport method of your own convenience.

【概要】

千葉県の銚子は日本一の漁獲高を誇る漁港です。

毎年この梅雨の時期に銚子で水揚げされた「マイワシ」は「入梅いわし」と呼ばれ、一年で最も脂が乗って美味しくなることで知られます。

このイベントでは東京駅から高速バスを利用して銚子に移動し、旬の「入梅いわし」を使った天ぷらやお刺身、つみれ汁などのお料理を頂く予定です。

また、趣のある私鉄「銚子電鉄」に乗って「世界の灯台100選」に選出された「犬吠埼」まで移動し、磯づたいの遊歩道をめぐり砂浜、岩礁、希少な崖地植物、漁港風景などを鑑賞する予定です。

国の天然記念物に指定された約1億年前の恐竜時代の地層は迫力満点ですよ！

※稀にイワシが不漁でお店に出回っていない場合があります、予めご了承ください。

【イベント終了後】
