Europe On Screen 2024 - L.O.L.A (Ireland, 2022)

Jakarta Creatives is inviting everyone to join the screening of L.O.L.A (Ireland, 2022) at this year's Europe on Screen

In 1940, two sisters Thomasina (Thom) and Martha (Mars) Hanbury built L.O.L.A., a machine that can intercept the future. With the war escalating, they use it as a weapon of intelligence, with world-altering consequences.

This movie wins Best Motion Picture at 2023 Catalonian International Film Festival & Best Original Score at 2024 Irish Film and Television Award (IFTA). It's scored 6.4/10 over 2,600 reviews at IMDb.

The event is FREE and will be held at the French Institute in Thamrin. We will meet at the ticket counter, get our tickets individually, and find places to sit together.

Afterwards, everyone who is interested in getting to know like-minded Jakarta Creatives is invited to gather together at a place nearby to have coffee - etc and chat about the movie and anything else.

Be on time! Latecomers will not be able to sit with us and might not be allowed to entry the cinema anymore. Places for this event are very limited as it is not clear how big and crowded the space will be.
It is crucial that everyone update their RSVP at least 24h before the event to allow people in the wait list to join. People in the wait list are encouraged to check 24h before the event.
