Possibility to go to Japan with a celebrity treatment

You could be a celebrity in Japan if you can speak Japanese. Youtube is useful for that purpose.

Japanese TV stations are always looking for things that would attract many viewers. I think that they consider that the number of hits that a Youtube posting receives means its popularity. So, TV stations are now looking for things on Youtube that have many viewers.

One of those Youtube user, Emily, is one of the people who were on a TV program of NHK (http://www.youtube.co.... Another is this parson, Magi (http://www.youtube.co.... She is from Pennsylvania and posted her Youtube video clips on the Internet. She sometimes sings a Japanese song (http://www.youtube.co.... But, basically, she just stares at the screen for half a minute (http://www.youtube.co.... I think that she is popular because she looks like an anime character and ‘Kawaii’.

Finally, this is one of the best clips by Carolyn from Chicago (http://www.youtube.co.... She speaks Japanese like a young teenager in Japan. According to other video clips, she worked at Santoka at Mitsuwa and is working at Nina. She said she was offered by a TV station for a TV program appearance. I bet all expenses are paid.

I could not find many men do the same type of thing.

I like some of Emily's videos.

Magibon is cute but that silent strare is a bit creepy. ^_^

Carolyn's Japanese is pretty amazing.

I'd like to add one I've found. I really like these walking videos. Much of my week in Japan was spent walking around and these videos capured that feeling.

Natsukashi-na-. that video you posted.

Nagano, where I am from, is surrounded by mountains, and mountain areas could have a lot of snow as shown in the video clip. Nagano city can have snow as well. However, Chicago overall is more freezing than Nagano, Japan.
