Japanese Language Exchange & Study Support Group

Remember this? http://www.meetup.com/japanese-7/events/20319041/

Yes, it's been almost 1.5 years since the meetup that sparked off the almost regular fortnightly exchange and study support meetup group. It's also been months since I put up any meetup events (I think the last time I wrote a event description was in Feb), so great thanks to all the volunteer event hosts for keeping it going while I hide under my great pile of work. In view of the long weekend ahead (yay to youth day!) I decided to sneak away from said pile of work and have a life for a day.

We will have the usual conversations in Japanese or about Japanese language, but being the bookworm that I am, I hope some of you would bring along your books in Japanese to share and talk about, and I'll bring 3 or 4 of mine along too. You're also welcome to bring your Japanese homework and ask for help from the real pros around (if not I'll try to help).

Everyone is welcome! Especially if you are learning or very interested in learning the Japanese language. Ok, almost everyone - I mean people who have the decency to buy at least a drink from Macs since we're occupying their shop space. You are also highly recommended to leave your shyness of blabbering in broken Japanese at home. If enough people are interested, we can continue to hang out for dinner (二次会) and drinks (三次会). You can usually find us at or near the 6-seater high tables next to the sink away from the sales counter.

Do you think it's feasible for me to bring some snacks along? haha, I've been having so much McDonald's food xD

Snacks should be fine, we do pass around foodstuff as omiyage sometimes and nobody chased us out =p As long as we're still paying customers and not making a nuisance of ourselves, I don't see why not.

So you have any English language for meet up ?

Hmm I'm not sure what you mean, but since this is the Japanese Meetup @Singapore group, the focus is on helping everyone learn Japanese and helping Japanese natives learn English/Mandarin. Preferably everyone comes with the intention of speaking at least a few sentences of Japanese, no matter how basic.
