Hi to all!

Welcome to new members!  I'm about to set the first meeting for 2011 and wanted to send out the book list separately, now that I have it compiled.  The first two selections are carry-forwards,  the rest are new.  As always, any prior selection that a member has read, or started, and wants to discuss, is welcome, just let me know.

The Disappearing Spoon: And Other True Tales of Madness, Love, and the History of the World from the Periodic Table of the Elements by Sam Kean.

Switch, How to Change Things When Change is Hard by Chip Heath and Dan Heath

Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson

David Foster Wallace short fiction/nonfiction mix and match:  Brief Interviews with Hideous Men and/or Consider the Lobster

Energize your reading with the sorta  metaselection Read This Next: 500 of the Best Books You'll Ever Read by  Howard Mittelmark and Sandra Newman
