Summer in the City Outdoor Concert: Aguanko Latin Jazz

Its mid-summer already. Bring your lawn chairs, sunscreen and come on out and vibe with Aguankó. They are an ensemble of Michigan based musicians steeped in the tradition of jazz infused Son-Salsa, Afro-Cuban jazz and shades of Conjunto Libre percussive Rumba Elemental.
The overall feel on Elemental is relaxed; the Jazz is sophisticated, but accessible in essential ways. It’s graced with a driving funk and sabor that comes only from years of developing a musical sensibility that speaks from both the heart and soul of the band members.

Free Parking is available in the municipal and library lots.
In case of rain, events are moved indoors to the air conditioned Pavilion and chairs will be provided.
