Fellow Jeepers,
It was a long summer and many of you have put a lot of miles and trails under your Jeep. Some of you may have noticed that your rig may not be riding the same, especially if you had a lift installed and no adjustments have been made to it since the install.

Well, bolts tend to work their way loose and things need to be greased. So if your jeep is feeling a bit loose or you are hearing those odd squeaking noises coming from mysterious places, or you just have a new piece of gear to install and you need some help, come on out and we can take care of that. The facility has great lifts, pneumatic grease guns, and air tools. Plus this club has tons of great Jeep knowledge packed into its members who love to work on Jeeps.

I personally plan to tighten up and lube my suspension and chassis. I may crack open my front and rear pumpkins and clean and relube. It depends on the cost. I have done it in the past, it was just a while ago and I forget what it ran me.

unfortunately, since this is a military facility, you can only use it, for your own vehicle, if you have a valid Military/dependent ID. If you just want to come and lend a hand and learn about Jeeps everyone is welcome. We can escort you on base and you can lend a hand. The cost to use a lift, I believe, is 50 cents per hour. It might be as high as 1 dollar per hour, but try to get that rate at Midas, Bridgestone, or anywhere else for that matter.

If you have a new bumper to install or a lift kit of any kind, I highly recommend that you start spraying all of the bolts that have to be taken off with "PB Blaster" today. It wouldn't hurt if you hit them with a wire brush before you spray them too. Most kits don't come with it so I suggest that you pick up some lock-tite for the bolts so that everything stays together after we are done. Bring all instructions for whatever you want to install and it is always a good idea to look over the package and make sure that they sent you all of the hardware and bolts.

Please feel free to correct me if I have the wrong time listed for when they open.

Hope to see you all out there.
