Web Apps and blockchain Technologies with Express.js & JavaScript Performance
Speaker 1: Web Apps and blockchain Technologies with Express.js and Etherium by Brian Herman (30min) Description: The purpose of this talk is to teach people how to make an express and passport authentication system based on Etherium using the web3 api. When provided with a private key and the private key's encryption password it will authenticate you. Part of my talk will be the setup of the private Etherium m block chain and bulk of the talk will be implementing the custom authentication system that uses passport and express. Speaker 2: Measure the performance of your client-side JavaScript by Josh Beckman (30min) Description: Don’t you want to know exactly how slow (or fast) your JS client runs? Wouldn’t it be nice to see that not only for a point in time, but over the course of a client’s session? What if you could use that information to self-regulate your JS client-side apps? This talk will cover the JS performance API along with some tools to measure, visualize, and report that data. Time allowing, we will also cover interesting ways to use real-time performance data to govern decisions inside a running Redux app.
