New Year Party at Dal Brigante!

Details

After I thought it through for the 1st event of 2014, I just couldn't think of any better place than everyone's favorite: Pizzeria Dal Brigante.

Rated as one of the top 5000 restaurants at Tabelog, Dal Brigante offers authentic neapolitan pizza in northern Osaka. The taste of their pizza is one thing, but what I really love about this place is its coziness. It's not like they are as chic and spacious as the other pizzeria like the famous Salvatore Cuomo (http://www.salvatore.jp), rather very small, but this is where you can actually feel HOME. I'm sure you'll love this place as I do ;) Come and enjoy their delicious Italian appetizers, pizza and wide range of wine! If you want to learn more about this restaurant, please visit their Tabelog site (http://tabelog.com/osaka/A2701/A270108/27004565/) (Japanese).

It's about 10 minutes walk from JR Fukushima Station or 3 minutes from Shin-Fukushima Station (Tozai line, one stop from Kitashinchi Station). If you need further directions, you can call me at 080-4763-0439 (Japanese/English) or call the restaurant at 06-6451-4605 (Japanese only).

Looking forward to meeting you then! :)

Fun Facts: If you thought all pizza was off-the-wagon when it comes to "healthy eating," think again...

Average American-style pizza=1600+ calories

McDonald's lunch set = 700~1000 calories

Gyu-don from convenience stores=900 calories

Italian-style Neapolitan Margherita pizza= (ONLY) 550 calories

That's a huge difference and makes for a much more healthfully indulgent meal, particularly when you split the pizza and start with a salad!!
