What's better than going to a musical and hearing other people sing? Getting to sing first yourself!
One of our own is in a musical about being unlucky in love. I feel it a great opportunity to support one of our members and also watch what sounds like an interesting musical (and mind you, I'm not even a big fan of musicals)!
That being said, I can't think of a better way to get psyched up for a musical than getting to sing myself. Luckily Pandora is only a few blocks away from the theater and the first few hours are typically slow which almost always ensures lots of singing.
So, anyone feel like changing it up with me and mixing in a little musical theater into a fun night of singing? I propose karaoke at 6pm, then head off to the theater around 7:30 for an 8pm show.
