TGIF Karaoke! Happy Hour Drinks, Socializing, Meeting New Friends & Thai Food!
TGIF! Join us for some fun & drinks Friday nite at Pandora Karaoke. Start the night rolling with some fun singing & meeting new friends. Many of the members are very nice & supportive! The best thing about going early Friday nite is the main lounge is pretty empty. And, for those who love to sing, you can have a blast getting in all your favorite songs on stage. Also, we like to get in a couple of group songs which are always a lot of fun to do to. Have a great time socializing while meeting new friends & enjoy lots of fun & laughter. Members in the group are always nice & friendly. We always have a lot of fun whenever we all get together with a couple of other meetup groups also invited. So join in on the fun! We look forward to seeing you there!
- HOW TO FIND US: Look for us at one of the table in front of the stage & our sign "SFBA".
- AT 9PM FOR DINNER: There is a KJ (Karaoke DJ) shift change & then the place gets a lot busier.
-- If 3 or more members are interested to getting food, we can head over to King of Thai Noodles which is just a couple of blocks away.on O'Farrell St.
- AFTER DINNER: We can head back to Pandora where some of the other members will still be or head for drinks elsewhere depending on how the group feels.
PARKING INFO: Parking is difficult in this busy area, especially on weekends. I would highly recommend public transportation. But, if you need to drive in, here is a link for parking garages in the area: There are a couple of small ones right next door & across the street from Pandora. The most affordable one would probably be O'Farrell St & Powell St right across the street from Macy's. -- $1 an hour. ~PARKOPEDIA: http://en.parkopedia.com
- IF YOU'RE UNFAMILIAR WITH THE AREA -- SEE BELOW FOR DIRECTIONS:
Pandora is on Eddy Street @ Taylor St -- 3/4 block from Mason Street where downtown meets the tenderloin. If you're not familiar with the area, be sure to walk over to the lounge from the downtown side -- Powell St Bart Station or Mason St. On Eddy St from Mason St, you'll see a lot of colorful characters hanging out on the streets, but it's safe, just walk fast & know your destination. (I've walked over to Pandora a couple dozen times by myself & no one had ever bothered me.) Pandora is a couple of doors after the big "Parking" sign on the left side of the street. Note: If you're unfamiliar with the area, try to avoid walking on the west side of Taylor St from Market St up to Geary St.
