The Silk Road Wine Tasting and Silent Auction!

 

 

 

 

 

The Silk Road is a food and wine tasting and silent auction. Food samplings inspired by the different countries along ancient trade routes are prepared by The Pineapple Room by Alan Wong and complimented with wines from R Field Wine Company.

Money raised through this event will help fund a wide variety of programs and services throughout the State for people with multiple sclerosis and their families. It will also fund research to find the cause of MS, to find treatments to improve the quality of life by those affected, and to find a cure.


If you would like to attend as a guest or a volunteer, please email me at [masked]. Please note that only paid guests will be permitted to consume the wine and food samplings from The Pineapple Room! Please note: Guest Tickets are $125.00. We will feed all volunteers, but we will be ordering sandwiches from the deli! You will be welcome to bid on silent auction items during your volunteer break! Mahalo! :)


Volunteers only:
You will be required to attend at least one event training during the week before the event. I will be doing the trainings Wednesday the 17th - Friday the 19th! Volunteers will needed to assist with check-in, registration, and table-watching. All volunteers will be asked to arrive by 3:30 on Sunday July 21! Please dress up a little, no jeans or beach slippers. Slacks and a nice top are appropriate!

The training will be held at the National MS Society office at 418 Kuwili St, #105 Honolulu, HI 96917. Our parking lot is located at 505 Kaaahi Street. We have several visitor stalls and 4 marked National MS Society stalls. Please park the in the visitor stalls first! :)


The training will be approximately a half hour! I would like to show you the floor plan on where you'll be volunteering, provide you the schedule of events, teach you the rules of the silent auction, provide you with a list of the item you will be watching if you're an auction watcher just in case bidders have questions about the items or other possible jobs! Also - teach you a little bit about MS if you don't already know (2-3 minutes)!

 
Also, if you RSVP - please know that I am relying on you to be very punctual for this event! I completely understand being a no-show for tea time or happy hour, but I will be relying on your help so only RSVP if you know you can commit! Mahalo!
