Who you calling old ? Lol
This was my first time out in a Kayak. The location was great, and I met wonderful people. Can't wait to go out again. :)
Good times! Nice to see the gang again. Had a ball with your guest Ben. She cracked me up. The rookie couple did fantastic too for their first time kayaking. Very impressive
Thanks for the offer of the kayak. Would have worked since I am under 200# but just got the message now and it is too late too plan for this event.Maybe next time---would have enjoyed the paddle though. Hope those going have fun.
If you see me signed up for a future event, and you would like to go, let me know.
Txs a lot ben . But will nit ve able to make it today. Maybe next time
I have a kayak I can loan but it is a small one. Ten footer which will work OK for someone under 180 pounds. 200 pounds is pushing it. I will check my eMail in the morning and load it there is a positive answer. Let me know if you need a PFD and paddle as well.

Ok, please let me know if anyone has a boat I can borrow----would love to go.
I used to do a lot of whitewater kayaking (Upper Yough, Upper Gauley in W. Virginia) and I did some flatwater kayaking in Florida last winter (I do keep a flatwater kayak at my place down there but do not have one here.)I would like to do this trip if there is someone in the group who could loan me a boat.

Sounds like you'll do fine if we can get you a boat. I have some, I just can't carry then on my car
Hi barb. There are no rentals here. However, someone may be able to bring you one. This creek is small and a little bit challenging. Have you kayaked before?
I am interested in an Easter Day kayak trip. Not sure where the destination is.Also, I do not yet have my own kayak. Would there be a place to rent one?
I'm not going to be able meet at the scheduled time- Happy Easter everyone!

My roommate and I would be interested in going, but I wouldn't be able to make it until 2pm because I am attending church in the morning. Would there be another spot we could meet up with you at 2pm? We were already planning on going kayaking Sunday, but thought it would be nice to meet up with other people. :)
i will let you know Maria
Ok thank you
Hi Maria, can you be at the Hukill Run road by 2 pm?
I was planning to hit the water on Sunday with a friend. Ten Mile would be OK, but would like to do Viola on Wheeling Creek. It would need to be after noon because of church.
Saturday is possable to, but I would need to get a more early start.
I did the paddle from Elm Grove to Kroger last weekend for my first paddle of the year. The water was great. Not even cold.
Contact me. Let's see if we can work something out. It would be great to see you again.
Putting in at viola?
Please indicate your intended put in and take out so we can make plans for the others. :)
if we were to do Wheeling creek we could put in at Majorsville and take out at Viola.
Buffalo Creek is a wonderful paddle too. That is more easy for me and everyone to get to. I could be there by 1:00 p,m, or even 2:00 for Maria, Sunday afternoon. Or we could go to an earlier church service, and be there by 11:00. That could be about a four hour paddle. We could have dinner afterwards at Staff's. like the last time.
You set he time and place, and I will see you.
Thinking about it, i think i would rather do Lower end of Buffalo Creek. Hukill road to the Ohio river. It's an easy put in and take out. :) what do you think?
If sat is your fancy please create another post... don't confuse things here. Ill be deleting non relevant Sunday posts. Ben I could do wheeling creek by viola. Call me[masked]
I would plan to do a creek or river. Maybe 10 mile creek. Please let ME know if there is interest in this trip. Other trips should be posted in another forum please to avoid confusion.
Can't make it Sunday but I'd be in for a trip on Saturday.
Sunday's gonna bee nicer...
so says the weather man so far.
