Shorter and Weaker paddle

Directions; Over the North Causeway in Ft Pierce to where A1A bears left at the Cumberland Station. Follow A1A about 10 - 15 mins to Round Island Park. Turn left at the light to the kayak launch at the end.

Bring all your safety gear, pfd's, whistles, sunscreen, hats, paddles. Not as hot as it has been but still lots of water will be needed. Bring a snack if you like.

I will try to keep this trip shorter than usual - about 3 hours. Don't even ask mileage.

Sunday should be a great day weatherwise, sunny, high in upper 70's and winds around 12 mph.

We will leave from the kayak launch and head out to Avalon, paddle through the mangroves, visit a spoil island or two, time permitting, remember this is a shorter, easier paddle.

After the paddle we will have some lunch and a cold drink at Sharky's probably.

Hope to see you there,

Herb

Beautiful sunny day but it turned out really windy for a shortened paddle. Great to see old and new friends again.

The wind and waves didn't allow for a shorter weaker paddle. But it was great being out on the water paddling with such a fun group

LOL over the title of this paddle! I'd love to attend, but will be processing turkeys for charity, in Palm Beach Gardens. Hope to meet up and paddle again with the group soon! Have a great time!
