Hello all who love to paddle!
It is coming to the end of the paddling season and I hope some of you can put aside a Badger gae or Packer game to come out and enjoy time on the water!
If you have an idea for a meetup, please post it so other folks can join in on the idea so it becomes a meetup. It takes three people to say yes for a meetup to become reality. It is best if you give a day and time for the meetup idea.
I am thinking of hosting another end of year paddle event which would either be at Mirror Lake or Devil's Lake. I have yet to secure a date, so I have not posted it yet. Both of these bodies of water are beautiful this time of year and easy to paddle, so there shouldn't be any worries about getting wet in cold water... but I still would encourage anyone to host a river meetup that they are sure won't have portaging. I understand the Badfish is now clear of the large tree (see Megan's post on the message board).
As always, I am grateful for all our members and especially grateful for those of you who are our Assistant Organizers. Thank you for taking the time to set up and host meetups this season. We had many enjoyable experiences! Our group is as strong as our members! Thanks again and let's have some more safe, end of the season paddle experiences!
