we checked out this site , we spoke to the park personal and was told we can launch right next to the beach
after you reach the end of meadowside rd continue into the park (when you click on the map you will see a traffic circle right at the water's edge.
we were told silver sands is a little known beach so it should be good. we can paddle and after we can party on the beach. (i didn't see bbq pits)
so if you have someone whos likes a day in the sun on the sand while we paddle ,bring a blanket and a towel

The boardwalk at Silver Sands State Park, Milford Silver Sands State Park features a boardwalk with 1/10th mile markers extending west 3/4 miles, connecting the State park to the City of Milford's Walnut Beach Park. The site includes an offshore island connected to the mainland by a sand and gravel bar (tombolo) that is submerged at high tide. Accessing the tombolo is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and should be avoided. Access to the island is prohibited May 1 through August 31 to protect heron and egret rookeries. To help you reach Silver Sands State Park, some routes leading to this site are posted with boat launch symbol signs. Access to the Park in the evening is available to marine anglers only via the small parking area at the end of East Broadway located at the south central end of the Park.
