Note that the program starts at 6 pm, the library hosts a reception beginning at 5:30 with wine and nice snacks.
You are welcome to join us for dinner if you can't make the program.

"Bestselling author and inclusive leadership expert Jennifer Brown discusses how to create belonging in our neighborhoods, friend groups, faith communities, schools, and city. Brown will address the now-contentious conversation surrounding DEI, offering a fresh and hopeful vision rooted in human connection. She unpacks the meaning of belonging, why it matters so deeply, how it shows up in daily life, and how Kansas Citians can lead with authenticity and inclusion, even in a changing landscape. This event is co-sponsored by: the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce."

Meet at the back of the room after the program - I will have a small sign that says "Meetup Group." We can walk over to the restaurant for a light bite after the program (Milwaukee Deli is one block away or there are other nearby options as well).
This program is cross-listed with the SOL (single "old" liberals) group for people 50+
