I'm available as an infrastructure/back-end/Rails guy if anyone needs one.

If you didn't know, Rails Rumble is back!

What's that?

The Rails Rumble is a programming competition where teams of up to 4 people will have 48 hours to build an innovative web application, with Ruby on Rails or another Rack-based Ruby web framework. After the 48 hours are over (and a brief interim to review submissions), a panel of expert judges will each pick his or her 10 favorite entries. All of the expert picks will be combined to find the top 10 Overall Winners, ranked 1 through 10. In addition, voting will be opened to the public for a special, separate, Public Favorite award

This year, the competition starts October 13th at midnight UTC, which is perfect for us here right in the middle of the evening.

Is anyone planning on doing RR?  Last time, I opened up the office for a weekend long hack session.   If there's interest, I'll plan on doing it again.

Registration starts next week, so gather up your teams!  If you don't have a team but would like to join one, reply and find some like-minded people.
