Yoooouuuuu folks?

But seriously, I know this conference seems like it would be .Net-centered, but it's not.  I submitted two Ruby talks last year and both were accepted.

Rubyists,

With rubymidwest coming up it may be easy to forget that the Kansas City developers conference is also on the horizon. KCDC is a great, platform agnostic conference held in our back yard.

However, it's only platform agnostic if people from all walks of life submit sessions. I, myself, have already submitted a Node.js session and a soft skills session. Fact is, Ruby will only be represented if you folks get involved.

We want this conference to be great and represent Kansas City tech as a whole. Please get involved and submit talks. The website is http://kcdc.info and the CFP is open until January 31. Good luck!

Thanks,
Dusty Burwell
