Happy "Take Your Dogs to Work Day", Kibble n Barkers!

Hope you have fun activities planned with your furry friends!

First, a big thanks to Bob and Cuba for planning the nice evening this past Monday on the Frying Pan, a dog-friendly outdoor dining destination. Bob and Cuba have a social group called DPFamily where they plan trips and social gatherings, raise money for charity, share member stories and more. Email Bob and Cuba if you would like more information on this private club: [address removed]!/pages/DPFamily/[masked]?ref=mf

TAILS of the Mayor's Alliance is hosting a dog-friendly event on Wednesday, June 30 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. They will announce their new "Petucator" initiative. The $50 entrance fee includes open bar and hors d'oeuvres. Location is Forum at 127 Fourth Avenue in Manhattan. Purchase your tickets in advance at:

Time Out New York has unleashed their list of dog-friendly watering holes. Check their list to see if your favorite made the list. Our summer hangout is The Yard at the Soho Grand or any cafe along the Hudson River. Their "Best Pet Store" list includes The Salty Paw down near the South Street Seaport where they will hold the Taste of Front Street this Saturday, June 26.

The Chihuahua Pageant will be held this Saturday at noon at Happy Paws, 318 Lafayette St. Small dogs are welcome to attend. Donations are given to Sean Casey Rescue.

Summer is a great time to catch up on reading in the park. We just purchased Steve Duno's new book, Last Dog on the Hill. For some other suggestions, check out PetCentric Authors or the Washington Post recommendations.

Remember to stay cool! We like the indoor dog-friendly shopping areas like The Shops at Columbus Circle and Limelight Marketplace. Don't forget that Animal Haven has an indoor small dog play group every Saturday from 1:45 to 2:45 pm.

See you soon!
