PH18 5SU, Blair Atholl
Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd April 2017, a level 2 walk of about 16 km with an overnight camp.
An ideal beginners weekend if you are planning on some summer multi-day expeditions. Learn the skills before you go, saves you carrying more than you need to.
Enjoy some great mountain walking on a 2-day Mountain Skills course. The course will cover all the basic skills to get about in the UK mountains, including navigation, equipment, weather, emergency procedures, camp craft and of course, some great walking. We will also cover skills for tackling river crossings and also include some easy and fun night time navigation to simulate poor visibility, a great skill to have.
