I'm very interested in going to Asheville,  but can't do it this month. Too much travelling and work.
Thanks, Diane

The Asheville day trip on Aug 25 is filling up fast, are you still interested?

Hey Kevin,

I am very interested. I have never been to Asheville, I would love to go and just need to know in advance so that I can request off work.

Hi all,

Viren had a great suggestion for an August outing – how about a weekend day trip over to Asheville? For those of you who aren’t familiar with Asheville, it’s a lot more vegan (and more healthy and liberal in general) than Knoxville. Some of the things that Asheville has to offer are:

- numerous vegan-friendly restaurants; my favorites are Plant (gourmet vegan!) and Laughing Seed

- GreenLife (WholeFoods) Grocery, French Broad Co-Op

- great arts & crafts galleries

- Western North Carolina Farmers Market (it’s HUGE!)

- A beautiful arboretum

- bookstores, coffee shops…

We could carpool from Knoxville and perhaps meet up with some Asheville vegans over a meal.

If you are interested, and if you have any specific suggestions, please let me know ASAP.

Thanks!

Kevin Meyer
