Actually, we are not 100% vegetarian i.e. we will eat seafood sometimes as pescetarian-friendly hikers. This title is just to get your attention and an intent to be as vegetarian as possible. I feel healthy food is more important than doing good exercise. So I created VHC-Vegetarian Hiking Club to help me and expats in Korea stay healthy. I’ve have hiked over 300 different mt in S. Korea and abroad and realized that it is very important to know how our body responds to our habits and behaviors in the short and long runs. I have known too many hikers who destroy their hard earned body by eating junk food/meat and smoking afterwards. Also, I would like to limit our hiking group to 20 hikers for each trip for quality and personal guidance that I would like to provide. We will also have various fun activities(depends on what people want) while or after hiking rather than just hiking and eating/drinking afterwards.
