Evening of Meditation - Enjoying growth
Evening of Meditation - Enjoying growth
We invite you to join our weekly Evenings of Meditation, to gently meet yourself, dissolve stress and live life from beautiful inner states, like calm, joy and connection. These gatherings are not just about meditating on your own, but a step inward we take together. Each time we’ll look into a particular topic in the light of timeless wisdom, reflect on it in a guided meditation, do powerful Oneness practices for greater wellbeing, and experience Deeksha - which helps to speed up your inner growth. For more info see: [www.onenessberlin.com](http://www.onenessberlin.com/) **This week's topic: Enjoying growth** Growth is something we naturally strive for in different aspects of life - career, experiences, relationships, health, wealth, friendships, and the impact we have on the world around us. But often, growth becomes associated with struggle, feeling stuck, or not truly flowing with joy. Many times, even when we achieve something, we are unable to feel naturally joyful about it. Let’s discover what can help us **Enjoy growth.** 🎟️ **Entry**: € 10 for walk-ins (in cash or PayPal) just for us to pay for the space or **[get a ticket from € 5 >](https://momence.com/l/R5hD9nA5)** 📍**Where**: Yoga Sky, Am Tempelhofer Berg 7d, 10965 Berlin Follow the Yoga Sky signs in the yard, and take the elevator to the top floor. 🗓 **When**: Sunday, 24th of May, 19:00 - 20:30 Please arrive 5-10 min earlier to settle down. You’re welcome, no matter your background or experience. This is what has worked for us over many years and we love to share it with you. Looking forward to see you, Oneness Berlin Florian & Jazgul
Mindfulness and Effortlessness
Mindfulness and Effortlessness
**Mindfulness X Effortlessness** Mindfulness and Effortlessness as a basic practice originate from different streams of Buddhism, yet they are complementary and their qualities are useful in all branches of Meditation and Spiritual Practice. “*For a moment, there’s nothing else in the world but the spring of our step and the sun on our face. The present moment fills our consciousness entirely, banishing yesterday and tomorrow, hope and regret, plans, schemes, should-have-beens, what-ifs, and let-me-justs. […] This moment exists all by itself. Why don’t we simply continue to live like this for the rest of time? The answer is obvious. We don’t believe that life can be so simple*.” (André Kukla) **We warmly invite you for an afternoon of exploring Mindfulness and Effortlessness.** We will announce the exact location in Berlin Mitte after your participation is confirmed. 💫 What this event offers for you: * Guided Meditations for arriving, calming the mind and tuning into your intuition * Mindful Yoga to connect with the body and allow natural presence * Mindfulness and Effortlessness Meditation Practice to explore qualities of meditation and relate them with your own path * Meeting people interested in spirituality and Meditation * Safe Space for sharing - non-hierarchical and non-judgemental 🧘 About the Facilitators: * Kamil is an Effortless Mindfulness facilitator and self-exploration enthusiast. * Martin is a certified Mindfulness Teacher and Yogi who enjoys to practice Yogic - as well as Shamata/Vipassana - Meditation. *This is mainly for people who have a regular practice. If you are not sure whether you should join, please contact Martin* **Event hosted by: Spiritual Journey Sharing X Meditation & Non-Duality Practice Communit** *"The essence of saintliness is total acceptance of the present moment, harmony with things as they happen. A saint does not want things to be different from what they are; he knows that, considering all factors, they are unavoidable. He is friendly with the inevitable and, therefore, does not suffer. Pain he may know, but it does not shatter him*.” (Nisargadatta Maharaj)

Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease. This walk is a simple reset. We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment. No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening. If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk. ✨ **What to expect (approx. 90 minutes):** * A short arrival and orientation * A guided silent walk (phones off, no conversation) * One concise science-based impulse on attention or stress * Optional reflection in pairs or small groups * A simple takeaway or experiment for daily life 🚶**Who this is for:** * Professionals, creatives, and people in transition. * People who feel mentally busy and want more clarity and balance. * Those curious about mindfulness, but grounded and practical. * Anyone comfortable with silence and gentle self observation. 🔔 **Practical notes:** * Duration: 60-90 minutes * Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing * No prior experience needed * Group size is limited to keep the space quiet and focused 🧭 **Facilitator:** My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction. 🤔 **Why Chitta Walks?** Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense. Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world. The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it. 🌿 **Possible effects:** A calmer nervous system. Clearer attention. A felt sense of being more present in your body. Subtle insights into how your mind reacts under everyday conditions. A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the city. **Come as you are. Walk. Notice. Leave with a little more space inside.**

Embodied Consent
Embodied Consent
🔵 **Embodied Consent** with **Karl-Henrik** for **LGBTIQA+** Free **[Registration Required](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/embodied-consent/w20-2026)** **Learning about boundaries and communication**. If you have not yet attended a workshop on Consent in the Village, now is the time! This workshop is highly recommended for anyone wishing to visit our project on a regular basis, or to attend one of our workshops. This experience will not only help you navigate within the we.are.village community, but it will also equip you to carry these values into your life. Being aware of your boundaries and expressing your consent or non-consent are essential skills in life, but we don’t often get a chance to actually practice consent skills in the same way we practice other skills, like singing, playing sports or learning a language. Consent is about much more than a simple yes or no. When we deconstruct consent, we discover how to communicate our true desires and stop choosing the things we actually don’t want. Through discussion, movement and partner games, we will build tools to express and negotiate physical desires and set boundaries through the use of practical exercises. This workshop is inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all body sizes, genders, and background. This is a non-sexual workshop, and great, low pressure situation in which to practice communication and touching. It’s as much about how to truly say yes and mean it as it is about saying no! If you have not yet attended a workshop on Consent in the Village, now is the time! This experience will not only help you navigate within the we are village community, but it will also equip you to carry these values into your life. Together, we aim to nurture a consent-centered community with shared values, emphasizing individual responsibility in upholding these principles. Our ultimate goal is to foster healthy relationships and create an inclusive community for a better, more connected future.

Soundness Check Circle | Mental Health Support
Hi, I am Zoe, a software engineer by profession. I have been running this support group since a shortly after covid 😇 The location is confusing if you route from google maps. Please note that it’s at Choriner Str. 12, 10119 Berlin. Do note the street and house number to reach ☑️ the bar next to it is always closed so please don’t get confused by it. What to expect in the circle: \- The first 45 minutes we can spend to get coffee and settle down \- On a volunteer basis\, each of the attendee will then get some time to share things that they are dealing with\, perhaps for 2\-5 minutes \- You can skip sharing even if you are in a circle\, there's no force \(and there will never be\) on you to share\, staying silent and listening is completely ok \- Attendees can recommend books or reading material if they like ///// ….. /////// Code of conduct: 📓 Please arrive on time. There are no requirements or expectations of any kind. Speaking is encouraged but not compulsory. All issues are legitimate and deserve attention. Everyone is entitled to share their experience, including yourself. Speak honestly and respectfully. Try not to downplay or invalid other people's feelings, or your own. Pay attention to physical and emotional boundaries. Avoid raising your voice, interrupting or talking over anyone else. Be aware of how much you’re participating so everyone gets a chance to speak. Refrain from giving unsolicited advice; what works for you may not for others. Respect privacy during this dialogue and beyond. What is said during the Meetup is not meant to be repeated outside. Notify the facilitator if you feel distressed or upset, or if you find someone's behavior inappropriate. Feel free to step out if you need to. Last but not least, have respect for everyone’s religious / cultural / nationality / race / gender / sexual / diverse backgrounds. ☀️

Church on Sunday (Worship in English)
**Join Us for Sunday Worship at the American Church in Berlin!** The American Church in Berlin (ACB) is an **ecumenical Protestant congregation** where people from *many* Christian traditions worship together—Lutheran, Reformed/Presbyterian, Anglican/Episcopal, Methodist, Baptist, non-denominational, Roman Catholic, and even a few Eastern Orthodox members. Wherever you come from, you’ll find a place where you can feel at home. Our worship is **traditional and liturgical**, rooted in the rich patterns of the Christian church and easy for both Protestants and Roman Catholics to enjoy. We celebrate **Holy Communion every Sunday and every festival day**, and all baptized Christians are welcome at the Lord’s Table. ACB is an **extraordinarily diverse congregation**, with members from around the world. On any given Sunday you’ll find long-time Berlin residents, young adults, teenagers who attend on their own, families with children, seniors, and many visitors and tourists passing through the city. Our community is known for its **warm and friendly fellowship**—it’s one of the things people talk about most after visiting. Some folks dress formally and others show up in jeans and sneakers; we sit side by side without judgment. **Come exactly as you are.** Most importantly: **our welcome is for everybody—EVERYBODY.** If you’re looking for a church home, a place to pray, just looking to connect, or simply a peaceful hour of worship during your travels, you’re invited. Moving Through Sound, Settling Into Resonance 24.05
Moving Through Sound, Settling Into Resonance 24.05
A somatic listening and sound journey · This workshop begins in the body. Through subtle, guided movement — weight shifting, breath, attention to sensation — we turn listening inward. Into the body. Into the space between sounds. Into the micro-movements we rarely notice. A geophone microphone picks up the vibrations of movement in the space, amplifying them back into the room. You may hear your own weight shifting. You may hear someone else's. The boundary between the two begins to dissolve. The sound doesn't create connection. It reveals it. From movement we move into stillness. Into deep collective listening. Into sound. Resonant instruments — singing bowls, gong, chimes, tuning forks — meet field recordings of the natural world. The room settles into a full sound bath, arriving into a body that has already been opened by movement. This workshop is rooted in experimental sound, deep listening, and the simple act of paying attention. It is playful, embodied, and quietly surprising. You will leave with a different relationship to the sounds around you — and probably to the women you made them with. No experience needed. No performance required. Just curiosity and a willingness to arrive. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. All instruments and materials provided. Beneath the noise. A deeper listening. **Les Amis** is a women-only community of friendly souls. We provide access to hundreds of experiences that explore your passions and connect you with other event participants. **Check our website to learn more, and apply to join our community and events**: [lesamis.cc/apply](https://www.lesamis.cc/apply)

Break Up With What Broke You, Columbus, Ohio
Break Up With What Broke You, Columbus, Ohio
On a list of "My Favorite Things", few people would put a "break up" in their top ten. More often, these words evoke feelings of shame, embarrassment, poor choices, and bad or sad endings. Before the new and beautiful can be built, the old, broken, and unnecessary must be cleared away. This process can be painful, but it is good, needful, and can produce wonderful results when done wisely and well. How does one break free from anxiety, comparison, or shame? Christian Bevere points people to the freedom God desires for His children, as well as giving practical ideas on how to shed both unhealthy baggage and the lies that seek to leave us anchored to past failure. Drawing from the Bible, ***Break Up With What Broke You*** clearly shows that what Satan would seek to use for evil, God uses for good and to accomplish His purposes. Join us **Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:30 pm**, when we gather at **True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center, Columbus**. We'd love to see you there!
