# Meetup groups and events policies
Meetup members and organizers need to be at least 18 years old. Meetup groups and events must be only targeted to people over the age of 18.
Family groups are more than welcome on Meetup, anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be supervised and accompanied by an adult guardian.
