Free Weekly Korean Language Lesson 스터디 모임 & Culture Exchange - Korean Wave

KOREAN LANGUAGE LESSON

스터디 모임!

& Korean/American Cultural Exchange

Studying a language requires exposure to the language.  Make time to hear and speak the Korean language, to help yourself learn.

Whatever your level, join us as we explore the Korean language and culture.  This is a good event for people to attend for their first meetup!

Can't read the headline for this event?  The Korean hangul characters "스터디 모임" we learned in an earlier meetup means "study moim" or study meeting/gathering.

도와주시겠어요? Native Korean language speakers welcome to join us as well, to help us learn the difficult parts of Korean, and to find language exchange partners & meet new friends.

Post if you need a metro station or other pickup.

    Hi,
I am a brand new member here and a native Korean speaker. Only attended a couple of Meetups, and wondering whether anybody is planning to relocate in Korea soon. I will be visiting Korea between 06/22-07/13 so I might be able to help in Korea or at least answer some questions if any.

We will eat at Nagwon, across the street from the Paris bakery. It is next to the Cricket phone store.

Yep and a pen or pencil. We'll take trip to the bookstore too. It's more self study than formal class, but we use the buddy system.

Hi! I was thinking of coming to this meetup but I am really a beginner (can't really read the characters), is that ok for this meetup or would it not be very helpful for me? Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

I've been attending for months, and I STILL CAN"T read the characters. It's not easy, at least not for me. We can work together maybe?

Quite a few of us can read the letters and are willing to help. All you need is a will to learn and a trip to The Aladin bookstore.

I just got back to the states from Korea in March. I'm already losing my elementary knowledge of the language. I'd love to meet some new people.

Welcome back to the US. This is a good group. I have been coming for quite some time now. However my Korean is still horrible but that is my own fault because I don't have much time to study during the week.
