After much work, the people behind WKTV (cable TV channel) are proudly launching a new radio channel: Korea Today...
XM Channel 144!
The programming will be a mix from some of the major networks in Korea.
K-pop lovers are highly encouraged to try to go.
RSVP "Yes" ONLY IF YOU CAN ATTEND! You will be on the waiting list, as we determine how many people from our group can attend.
The event attendance is very limited, probably much lower than the 30 people limit showing here. If you are already going (invited outside of this group) you can post a comment here, but please do not use up a space by RSVPing.
You will get a chance to tour the beautiful SiriusXM studios in its DC headquarters and celebrate the grand opening with Gerry Connolly, Sharon Bulova, Mark Keam and Deksu Han (Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the United States), Jimmy Rhee and heads of Korean American Associations and other Korean media outlets.
The event is semi-formal dress suggested, from 5pm-7pm. Parking may be available in the Sirius lot, and there is meter parking on the street.
We will create our own after-party dinner, probably at Mandu on K Street in DC (http://www.mandudc.com/kstreet/khome.html).
The channel will be available to regular Sirius XM subscribers starting on January 12.
You can find the channel on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/KoreaToday/132052353547676?v=info
