What is your Korean language ability (native, or # years, or level)?

I can read the Korean "alphabet" (hangul) and a some of the Chinese characters (hanmun). I studied intermittently from 1987 to 1991 and fairly intensively in 1991 and 1992.

Share your interests or hobbies that the group might like to know... or your website address... or a fun fact!

My major was education. I also worked in international finance for many years. My hobbies include triathlon and guitar.

I am a language facilitator and have been a member of this Meetup group since it first started in 2006. I have enjoyed learning from some members and teaching others. I also run Chinese language meetups and teach ESL for Fairfax County.

What Mark J is saying about this Meetup Group

Very casual atmosphere and great source for language learning tips.
