Kundalini is the yoga of awareness. It helps to transmute energy in our subtle and physical bodies so we can become the best versions of ourselves. We all have this innate abliity, and through the technology of Kundalini yoga, meditation and sound (vibrational) healing we can become more conscious, enabling us to navigate our lives in the best way possible. If you can breathe, you can join us. It is only by direct experience that you will understand your own personal abilities for transformation. I am looking forward to seeing you! All are welcome!

Kundalini Yoga Meditation & Sound Healing

Welcome! I am so excited to be offering this meet-up Kundalini Yoga class! We will start with seated warm-ups, followed by a Kriya (a set of exercises aimed at achieving a desired result). A brief relaxation with sound healing will happen next, followed by a meditation that fits with the theme of the class.

It's important to be comfortable. A yoga mat is great, or you can just find a comfortable spot on the floor. A chair will work too, if getting on the floor just isn't working for you that day. Having a cushion or pillow, and perhaps even a blanket makes for cozy relaxation and comfortable meditation. Please have water in your practice space. Please have an open mind and an open heart.

We wil be moving our physical bodies as much or as little as you decide. Kundalini is all about you having an experience with YOU! Delving deeper, we will begin to do practices that allow for a deeper connection with our subtle bodies, allowing for a more intimate connection with our nervous system, vascular system, glandular system, respiratory system and digestive system. The benefits go beyond that! Practicing helps one to not only exercise these systems, but to become more aware of the self-sensory system that is innate in all of us. Most likely the self-sensory system has remained relatively inactive due to living so much of our lives in our anaylitical, 2-dimensional head brain. Kundalini is known as the "yoga of awareness" and it will be through your own direct experience that you will begin to use the technology to guide you on your life's continued journey of greater consciousness.

My passion and dharma is that you use these practices even when not in class. ...that you share them with loved ones and friends. Now is the time that we become a collective, rather than continue to practice the antiquated hierarchal system that puts one person on a pedestal, with the rest of us being followers. Everyone has special gifts (I like to call them "super powers")! Let's share ideas! Let's work to create a loving and compassionate network of like-minded people who truly want the best for ALL people! See you soon!
