Hi Kx Community Milan,

We're holding our next Kx Meetup on Thursday 6th October- we hope you can join!

Our speaker will be one of our brightest engineers, Leo Quigley and our venue will be coffice milano!

Leo will be explaining how Kx supports streaming analytics on extremely large data sets that would simply swamp traditional technologies. The talk is a perfect opportunity for members to learn about the power and scalability of Kx and how it can be applied to real-life business problems across a range of traditional industries from finance to manufacturing and the evolving challenges of IoT and everywhere connectedness.

Speaker Bio:

Leo is a Kx Project Manager working with First Derivatives for 7 years. He has been involved with major investment bank leveraging Kx technology for market data capture, risk management and infrastructure sensor analysis. He has an academic background in Mathematics and Finance and holds a BSc in Financial Maths and an MSc in Financial Services. At his current role he is the project manager responsible for the development and maintenance of the Market Database in a Major Investment Bank including data capture, manipulation and optimization.
