Horseback Ride on the Beach - Postponed for warmer weather

1 hour trail and beach ride from 3-4 on a Sunday afternoon. Go for a guided ride on spectacular Ocean Beach the most poplar beach in San Francisco; surf, driftwood, sea birds, seals and whales on occasion. One Hour Ride $40 plus $20 for Wranglers.  Thanks to Nahla for the suggestion!

Review from Yelp, I can't get on the website with my work laptop to paste thier description.

"Straight from the horses mouth: if you are looking for a breathtaking view of the Pacific ocean from the back of a horse, look no further. Yes, its a little run down for a stable, but considering the cant get a country club over here. The horses had shelter while waiting for riders and if you arent a hunter/jumper barn snob, then this place will be just fine for you. Having owned my own horse and helped out on trail rides for a good friend of mine back home, I can honestly say I saw no skinny horses, feet looked good, tack was clean and seemed to fit well and the horses themselves seemed relaxed.

We were greeted by John who ended up being our guide. Filled out our liability forms and then got saddled up. I rode a Paint named Scout and the boyfriend rode a nice boy named Breezy. John, who rode Crackerjack, was a great guide and engaged us with nice conversation during the ride.

We rode down trail to the beach and as we rode i could tell the sand was too thick and wet to trot or canter and our guide concurred and explained why it was bad to trot or canter in the current conditions. No problem, horses safety comes first and he was genuine about his concern; which I could appreciate. Great 1 hour ride. I definitely recommend it and to all those who have such crappy reviews- if you never owned a horse, let alone 20+horses which I'm sure they care have no clue the amount of work and money it takes. Just because its a little run down, doesnt mean they dont care about the horses they get their livelihood from. I definitely will be back when I'm in town. And will recommend to everyone!"

Hope to see you there! Jennifer

This sounds really fun! I need to find out if my husband is off that day, otherwise I'll need to find a sitter before I RSVP. I'd definitely love to do this!

I need to find out the details for my sons' basketball tournament, but I am in for now. Looking forward to it! I did this many years ago. It's fun!
