I had a great time. Sorry that I got separated from the rest of the group. I wasn't trying to be anti social! I posted a few of my shots here but here's the rest of my edited shots if you want to look:

Great venue. I really looked at the fair from a different angle this year.

Hi, I am new in this area, in this meet up. Is there anyone going from Phoenixville area (close by)? Let me know, i want to join, but to far to drive alone :(

Rima, I am not aware of anyone going to the York Fair from the area in which you live. You may have better luck by attempting to meet someone at A.C. Moore in Lancaster. This is a traditional meeting place for folks in our group. Their address is 1515 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601. Good luck.

Rima, I tried sending you an email, but maybe it didn't go through. It looks like I'll be driving myself. Maybe we can hook up and you can still get to the fair. My cell phone is[masked]

Last minute straggler here. I would be coming from Harrisburg, and was wondering if I could meet up with anybody off the Carlisle ave exit, there are a few stores along that Carlisle ave exit I think along with a Burger King, Giant and some other stuff. I would be willing to pay half the cost of parking at gate. Just a little unsure of where meetup location is at. Thanks.

With multiple people coming from Lancaster, it seems silly to drive myself. Is there space in anyone's car?

I live very close to the fair and am thinking of going if I can get the car. Is anyone for sure attending?

Angela, There are 15 club members attending this event. If you are familiar with the fairgrounds, we are meeting at 5 PM at the little bridge connecting the infield of the race track to the midway near the Carlisle Avenue gate. If you park inside the Carlisle Avenue gate, face the grandstand - then turn left and walk to the little ditch to the left of the track. You will see a little white bridge crossing that ditch. I will be waiting there to gather the troops at 5 PM. You are welcome to come earlier, but I will be there at 5. Also, nothing compels you to meet us at the bridge. Just have fun and shoot lots of pix if you don't want to meet us.

For you new folks, especially, tie a small yet visible red ribbon to your camera or camera strap so we will recognize you as a meetup member.

I'll be looking for red ribbons, just to say hi.

Can I hitch a ride with someone, or I could drive if a couple people wanted to ride with me. Just seems silly to drive alone.

You are most kind, I graciously accept your offer.

4-4:30 at our place should be OK to be there on time.

Born and raised... Now I'm on the other side of the river but my family still lives in York so we make many trips there.

As you may know I live in Manchester about 5 miles north of York.

Take Rt 30 to Carlisle Avenue exit. After the Carlisle Avenue off-ramp, turn left at the light. Follow Carlisle Avenue to the York Fair gate. When parked, turn toward grandstand, then face left and walk to the end of the parking lot. You'll see ahead a dirt path leading to the exhibits.I will be there at 5 PM. There's not enough room above to provide coherent directions, sorry.
