The money will be use to cover this meetup fees This is a scrambling hike and we will return almost the same way. We will have 10% exploratory on the way back, so no cave back. This hike starts down on ash canyon, near Kraft Mtn and continue to scramble to the left side. We'll do 2 slots and climb one short rope or no rope. You must not be afraid of height, because I am not going back the same way with the rope. We will help you to complete the hike. This hike is not a good choice for beginners still afraid of height or exposure, but if you are in shape and ready to experience this adventure, we will help you on the way. This route has some exposure and a webbing to overcome it. NO GUEST... have your guests become members then sign up Bring 2 liter water plus electrolytes, snack, or a sandwich. Wear sunblock or wear hats if want. Winter doesn't look like is here anyway, so it feels hot during the hike. Thanks This hike is similar to the ones we do all the time at red rock when we scramble. It has chains for those who need the extra help. If nobody gets sick during our hike, we should be back in town earlier than anticipated. No guests to this hike... if you have someone else who wants to come with us, have he or she to join this meetup and let them read and be aware of the upcoming event. Angels Landing is World Famous fun hike! 6 mile round trip hike with major exposure! Mostly paved trail with class 4 exposed scrambling the last 1/2 mile to the top. When at the top you will be looking straight down over 1500 feet. If you fall from the cliff, you won't survive. You must know your limits. I will be driving and taking up to 3 fun adventurers with me. Let me know if you can drive (325 miles round trip). Please tip your driver $20 (based on # of passengers and type of vehicle) per hiker. Remember that your driver will be driving for you and he or she will provide the vehicle adding wear and tear to their vehicle, their tires and adding mileage plus the cost of gas. You will just sit back, relax and enjoy the view all the way to our destination. We can have dinner in Springdale or St. George after the hike. Plans are to leave about 6:00 am and stop for a quick breakfast in St George. You will need to bring your hiking gear, change of clothes, 2-3 liters water, electrolytes, hat, sunscreen and money for gas, food and whatever! I suggest to always carry cash when traveling to another state. Each car will need a national parks pass or it cost that group $35 to get in the park! My car is cover. Plus share the cost of the parking, which is $15 - $20 per vehicle. To those used to scramble in red rock, this is nothing, but for the new hikers it is a challenge. A MUST KNOW: Don't sign up to this hike if you're afraid of heights. I won't stay behind with you, but we'll definitely take it slow to the very top. This hike has lots of exposure, know your limits, and know that this is a dangerous hike but not impossible. REMEMBER: Please always know that you're responsible for your own safety as for those who accompany you to this hike. Your organizer is not responsible in any way if anything would happen to you or your guests. Please take the same precautions you would if hiking alone. By signing up and attending to this meetup, you acknowledge that you agree to the terms given above. Safety depends on your good judgment. In other words, your safety is your responsibility. Your organizer cannot be liable in any way if anything happens to you or your guests (e.g., body injury or even death). You cannot bring any lawsuits against this meetup organizer/host. You are at your own risk when you hike with us. One step at a time when you scramble. Rocks could be loose or slippery. Take care of yourselves. See you on the hike... Sara
