LeaderImpact Book Club: Daring Greatly, session 9
Details
This is Week 9 of 10 in our Daring Greatly series of LeaderImpact Next*.
We meet in person at the 1st floor of the Hampton Hotel, across the street from the Central Station.
Meeting Rules
- Be mindful. We meet at the Hampton as paying customers of their lounge. While LeaderImpact groups are free, please consider ordering a drink to make sure we continue to be welcome there.
- Be on time. We strive to start at 7pm and finish at 8pm.
- Be prepared. Check the Participant Guide for the required reading and discussion questions. The more prepared you come, the more you and the others will benefit from our time together.
Week 9
CHAPTER 6: DISRUPTIVE ENGAGEMENT: DARING TO REHUMANIZE WORK
In this chapter, Brown recognizes the disruptive nature of vulnerability but suggests that it is worth the effort and discomfort. Our workplaces and families are being stifled by shame. This is not only limiting our work – it is also limiting our personhood.
