Christmas is tough for many of us. We have to meet old friends, family and extended family that perhaps we don't have much to say to. The world paints Christmas as a fun-filled experience, but for most of us it's stressful.
Rosie is an expert in healthy communication and relationships from her previous career in domestic abuse and helping perpetrators and victims understand better ways to communicate and conflict resolution.
David has learned above most people, how to best support his loved ones so dearly as his two closest relatives passed away and he now helps teach others better ways of being with family members.
So we thought - lets tackle this for you all. Because it is possible to have a more calm and stress-free Christmas. This is for you if you worry what family think of you, get upset by negative remarks they make or perhaps you get sucked into conflict and feel awful after.
You will get:
Tools to help you respond to conflict (it is possible to have a healthy, respectful argument!)
Learn how to overcome judgement / self judgements
Learn how to deal with rejection (family or dating)
Learnings to help you feel good about yourself, not compromising your values or integrity and what is true for you (when people get this wrong they suffer shame and self criticism.)
So if you want to have a more relaxing Christmas - come and learn some great tried and tested methods from our lovely selves ;)
Here is what people have said about talks and workshops run by Rosie and David:
"What immediately struck me was her authenticity and genuine interest in wanting to be of service. Rosie has the ability to intuitively tap into what people need and I think this is her most special trait. I'm so grateful to have met Rosie as her honesty and compassion creates a space where one can feel very comfortable to have deep and meaningful conversations which can facilitate self discovery and personal development."
"Thank you Matt for inviting David to present this amazing and powerful tool-talk! You have opened my eyes to the amazing and provocatively authentic side we all possess but rarely use it... Thanks, I am acting on it already and it works wonders :-)"
"Rosie helped me realise that I was avoiding the removal of the biggest energy drainer in my life today. She helped me to gain clarity and it is nice to talk to a person who asks the right questions.Thank you so much Rosie :) You are incredible!"
“David, thank you so much. I feel like in less than 2 hours I have come a long way. It has been quite unusual where you come to a talk like this with a hope that something is really going to help you and often times it doesn’t. One ingredient you brought, is that you brought us together and lead us on a journey that’s taken some of us at least one big step and it’s made a real difference that I feel will probably be lasting, thank you”
Rosie has been in the world of personal development since her dad introduced it to her when she was 9 years old.
From a young age Rosie struggled with anxiety, panic attacks as a result of constant bullying throughout childhood. Even as she got older she was let down most by those she trusted, experienced sexual abuse and rape at university and further bullying later on. It was important to her to stand up against injustice and help those who are suffering with it which has kept her going into a successful and empowering career.
She has worked in the field of domestic violence; supporting victims and also with perpetrators to get them to change their behaviour. She has recently done a TEDX talk, speaking about the negative impact of being a bystander and wants to inspire people to step forward and in so doing, make the world a better place. She is a Speaker, Coach and an enthusiastic woman about changing societal issues impacting gender.
About David, in his own words:
"For a large part of my life I was anxious, lazy, depressed and addicted to one thing or another. My friendships were superficial and I was scared that if anyone knew the real me, then I would be even more alone. My life was like groundhog day and I thought that was as good as it would get.
Over the past few years I have taken myself from that place to where I am now; passionate, excited, creative, fulfilled and full of wonderment. I know that life is short and I do my best to make the most of every moment.
Most of the the people I am closest to now, have come into my life in the past couple of years; which has only been possible because of what I will be sharing in this talk.
I coach people to achieve the impossible: Entrepreneurs, CEOs, Charities, Elite Athletes, Actors, Professional Coaches or anyone who I resonate with. I also empower people like you to connect more deeply with yourself and others so you can live without limits in your work and your life.
Family and friendships are really important to me and I have built my career around a life filled with love: something that makes me smile to be able to say with a straight face, because it is true.
I had the privilege of caring for my dad, who had Parkinson's, until he died and got to be with my beautiful, 100 year old, grandma for the last 10 months of her life because I held true to my integrity and said "no more" to living a life that other people had laid out for me. I owe them both so much for their love, inspiration, their way of being, for the gift of their presence and so much more. I miss them both deeply and think of them every day."
The cost to attend is £20 cash on the day. Arrive at 12:30PM. The workshop begins at 1PM. Please arrive on time, or let us know if you are running late.
