They are used for getting driving directions, displaying real time information or exploring the world. In this talk Markus Tremmel will show on which concepts and technologies modern mapping apps are based. You will get a basic idea of how the new generation of 3D map applications are designed and how they can be used for advanced spatial analysis. In the practical part Markus will demonstrate how a 3D map application based on a popular open source framework could be implemented. Markus Tremmel studied geoinformatics in Munich and is working as an geospatial software engineer at Rohde and Schwarz in Teisnach (Bavaria, Germany). His main focus lies on the development of map and gis applications. In his freetime he is a passionate skier and into any other outdoor sport.

Jeevitha came to Germany for her master studies in Computer Science. Apart from technology, she is a trained professional Indian Classical dancer for 16 years. Stefan Fischerländer has two decades of experience when it comes to search engine optimization. He speaks on leading online conferences and publishes articles for different professional journals. In 2013, he was voted into the "top 100 web personalities" by the German journal t3n.

Kicker 2.0 combines the Internet of Things (IoT) with Data Science, collects match metrics and uses them to generate insights and predictions about a kicker match. The system combines different technologies on different platforms including sensor data access on Raspberry Pi, live image analysis and object detection in C# and data processing in ONE DATA.
