Living a Life of Faith
Details
Faith is the cornerstone of the Christian journey. The Bible declares, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). To live a life of faith is to trust God’s promises, even when circumstances seem contrary.
Throughout Scripture, we see remarkable examples of faith. Abraham, called the father of faith, “believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness” (Genesis 15:6). Despite his old age, Abraham trusted God’s promise of a son. Likewise, Daniel’s unwavering faith led him to pray, even when it meant facing the lions’ den. God honoured his faith and delivered him (Daniel 6).
In the New Testament, the woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd, believing that if she could but touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be healed. Jesus said unto her, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole” (Mark 5:34).
In contemporary times, faith continues to transform lives. Many believers have testified of God’s provision, healing, and guidance in times of uncertainty. Whether facing illness, financial hardship, or personal trials, Christians who trust in God’s word often experience His faithfulness in unexpected ways.
Let us be encouraged to “walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7), knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Join us at this meetup as we explore what it means to live a life of faith, both in the pages of Scripture and in our daily lives along with its resulting power and benefits. Your life will never be the same as you apply the principles of faith to obtain miracles from God.
