LWA Eastern Shore Weekend 2023

Please join your LWA riding buddies for the annual Eastern Shore Weekend May 5-7 , 2023. As usual we have rides planned for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Once again our host hotel is the Quality Inn, 8523 Ocean Gate Highway , Easton, Maryland . The group room rate is $134.10 per night per room. You are responsible for making your own reservation. Call the hotel directly at 410-820-8333 and tell them you are part of the Lehigh Wheelmen Cycling Group block. We have a block of 10 rooms to begin and we can add more if needed. I'd love to fill the block early. DEADLINE FOR RESERVING UNDER THE BLOCK IS APRIL 5.

If you will be cycling You MUST BE A LWA MEMBER (insurance purposes).
Non riding guests are welcome to attend. There is a lot to see and do in the area.

The Saturday ride takes us to Hooper's Island. Traditionally we have had a lunch at Old Salty's, but this year we have arranged something different. The Hooper's Island Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting a rest top for us. I'm really looking forward to meeting some of their members and supporting the organization with donations. While not exactly close to Easton, I'm including this as a potential side trip either on the way down or back from Easton. The museum is free and tours are available. I'm adding this because I visited and found it very interesting.
