After Work Walk

Casual walk along around the neighborhood and possibly through the Woodland Sanctuary preserve. We'll use the street parking near of the intersection of Eureka and Warner. We'll follow the Quarryman Challenge route through town which really enjoys the character of the topography and the neighborhood.

Penny will lead the walk and the group can determine the pace that suits the folks that attend.

Thanks !

Taking on the hills of Lemont is a beautiful thing and a powerful walking workout!

Yep, we did part of that loop on Monday's walk, then walked the woodland sanctuary. I didn't see any arrows though.....conversations were good, so maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention. 8)

Hey Penny. Here's a link to the Quarryman Route if you wanted to pick up part of it along the way. It's marked with pink or white arrows. http://www.quarrymanchallenge.com/pdf/quarryman_10mile.pdf

Hi Don, This is approximately 3-4 miles, going up and down a few of Lemont's finest hills that wind through the neighborhood. Rain cancels.

Do you have an estimate of how many miles you plan to walk?

    Thanks.
