KURINUKI Cup: black clay 24.7

Kurinuki is a traditional Japanese technique of carving from a solid block of clay — a slow, meditative process and one of the most beautiful ways to shape ceramics. In this class, we’ll create a handmade cup together. After the first firing, we’ll glaze your piece with a transparent finish, and it will be ready for you to pick up in about four weeks.

The class is open to all skill levels. Whether it’s your first time working with clay or you’ve done it before, our teacher will guide you step by step through the process.

All materials are included — aprons too. Just wear something you don’t mind getting a little clay on.

Come as you are. Leave with something meaningful, handmade, and entirely your own.
